TXS Design had its own product company, called Brandstand Products, that sold power solutions to the hotel industry, with added functionality that made it more useful for hotel guests.
While brainstorming what the next product might be, the idea of creating an alarm clock with two separate alarm features produced several different concepts, of which this was one of them.
